Joachim Verhaeghe is a lawyer at eMotio.law and has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2013.

Joachim is a multi-skilled lawyer who advises large companies, SMEs and public authorities and provides clients with pragmatic and business-oriented solutions that align with their business goals.

Joachim is a dispute resolution and contract lawyer, with a focus on commercial law, distribution, corporate law and real estate:

• he assists clients in resolving their matters and disputes
• he assists clients in drafting sale, lease, services and distribution agreements
• he provides in-house secondment services, where he is temporarily integrated into clients’ legal department and business unit

Joachim is also a data protection lawyer, helping clients to comply with the GDPR and implement processes to protect their data, goodwill and trade secrets.

Joachim graduated from the University of Leuven (KUL) in 2012. He also holds a postgraduate Master’s degree in Tax Law from the University of Leuven (KUL) obtained in 2013, as well as another post graduate Master’s degree in Corporate Law from the same university (campus Brussels Hermes) obtained in 2014.
